Bedford Audubon Society's headquarters are located at: To date Bedford Audubon Society owns and manages about 558 acres of land at three sanctuaries, all located in northeastern Westchester County. Sanctuaries are open to the general public dawn to dusk and admission is free. Click for more information about our sanctuaries. Programs and lectures are conducted the evening of the second Wednesday of every month, excluding July and August. They are free and open to the general public. Field trips are conducted several times monthly and are also open to the public. The Society is supported by membership dues and donations made by individuals, corporations, and foundations. The Bedford Audubon Society, Inc. is recognized by New York State and the U.S. Federal government as a 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit, charitable organization. The Bedford Audubon Society Newsletter is published four times yearly and is distributed to all members in good standing and to non-members for a nominal yearly fee.
